In the year 2008 we will are celebrating the 78th anniversary of Lord Professor Doctor Sir Antón Jayasuriya's birthday and this is the fourth year that our Great Master will not be with us.
After a long meditation and hearing the voice of all our students which were demanding us to continue the path showed to us by Dr. Antón, we have taken the decision to pat homage to him. The best way of doing this is to carry out our Congress 2008. We are sure that without any doubt, this will be what he would have liked us to do. We know that his spirit will be with us throughout this event. We are convinced that what he spread will have fruits. Guided by his memory, we will make of this Congress a great success.
Due to his physical absence, which used to fill everything with light, joy and knowledge, we have considered that the Congress will be shorter, because no one can fill the place He left. It was ONLY HIM that with his sole presence could make the Congress. We have also decided to make the Congress for only two days, making if affordable for everybody who would like to participate. This event will be of great transcendence, because it is In Memoriam of Sir Antón.
All those who have the honor and the privilege of knowing Sir Antón can understand that even when his energy and his knowledge continues with our lives, his physical presence is irreplaceable and for this reason he has left a great space which is very difficult to fill. How can we find that eccentric combination of joy and compassion, of strength and generosity? Sir Antón was always giving... knowledge, a gift that he seemed to be taking out of his pockets along with joke, a funny comment and his unique witty and sharp look. Moreover, all of us who were lucky to have the honor to see him when he was giving treatment know that he was able to transmit a deep look full of love and tenderness to every single one of his patients.
We can write many pages about Sir Antón but this would not be even enough to explain what He is as a whole, so we will let time as well as our actions speak for what we are unable to say.
Anyone who wishes to come accompanied may do so in order to pay homage to this Great Spiritual and Healing Master. As for now we can say "So long Dearest Professor Doctor Sir Antón Jayasuriya."
